"情報"は、発信するものが受け取るものに何かしら内容が伝わって"情報"になるもので、"情報"という概念自体は空っぽの器のようなものだと考えています。

もし発信元が不明で解明不可能な場合、受け取る側が何かしら情報らしきものを認識したとしても、それは受け取る側の主観と経験的知識でしか解釈され得ない。でもそれはもしかしたら、ただの誤解であり情報ですらないのかもしれない。

例えば古代遺跡や岩などに様々な紋様のようなものが刻まれていたり描かれていたりしています。だいたい宗教儀式的なものだったり自然崇拝的なもの、宇宙人のメッセージなどのオカルト的なものと推測されていますが、もしかしたら描いた本人の意図とは違い、ただの意味のないデザインや落書きという可能性もなきにしもあらず。現代の人間には真の解明は不可能なはずです。

これは、そういった未だ解明されていない古代の様々なペトログリフやペトログラフに共通した抽象的な記号を私がいくつか抽出して再構成し、オルガン／ベース／ドラムスという楽器で解釈したものです。

ある夜、私はこの編成でライブをする夢を見ました。そこから具体的な所謂音楽を想起させる音で具現化してみようと思いついたわけです。ですが音楽という意識はありません。むしろ記号の集合体を翻訳機にかけた感覚です。



I believe that the concept of "information" itself is like an empty vessel.

If the source is unknown and unknowable, even if the receiver perceives something that looks like information, it can only be interpreted by the receiver's subjective and empirical knowledge. However, it may be just a misunderstanding and not even information.

For example, ancient ruins and rocks have various patterns engraved or painted on them. It is usually assumed that they are religious rituals, nature worship, or occult messages from aliens, but there is also the possibility that they are just meaningless designs or graffiti, unlike the intentions of the person who drew them. It should be impossible for modern humans to truly elucidate.

In this piece, I have extracted and reconstructed some abstract symbols common to various ancient petroglyphs and petroglyphs that have yet to be clarified, and interpreted them with the instruments of organ, bass, and drums.

One night, I dreamed that I was performing live with this composition. I decided to try to realize it with a sound that evokes a specific kind of music. However, I am not conscious of music. Rather, it is a collection of symbols that I put through a translator.
